Guitar Idol III – The Rules

To stand the best chance of winning compose an original guitar composition that showcases your guitar playing and musical ability to the max! If you haven't the access to do a complete new recording and composition, then you can play over jam tracks or backing tracks: but remember that you will be looked upon much more favourably if your entry is entirely your own work... Guitar Idol III is all about discovering original new talent - not someone who can play a perfect cover version!

What are we looking for:

Originality, technical dexterity, strong compositional and stylistic ability, taste, feel and phrasing.

What Next?

Film yourself playing the track and upload it here:

And Then:

Market your entry across the entire internet and gain as many views, votes, and as much publicity for yourself as possible!
